Is the Pensioner Visa Right for You?
This visa is designed for you if you wish to establish residency in Colombia by receiving a public or private pension of at least 3 minimum colombian wages.
You should apply for this visa instead of others if you want to reside in Colombia and are a pensioner. The income must come specifically from a pension, and this M-type visa allows you to accumulate time toward a resident visa after five years.
In contrast, the Rentista Visa is intended for individuals with passive income from investments or rental properties, requires a minimum income of 10 minimum wages, and does not permit time accumulation for residency.
With the Pensioner Visa, you can enjoy a fulfilling retirement in Colombia while securing your residency status.
